Prospective Members
If you are not currently a student at the University of Newcastle, you'll be required to Join NUsport online via their website first and obtain a Nusport ID before your membership becomes active and you are eligible to participate in club activities. If you don't currently have a Nusport ID, we would encourage you to obtain one before completing this registration - contact secretary@nubc.com.au for more information.
Prospective members may be required to undertake an on-water assessment to evaluate safety and competency. NUBC expects a high level of independence and sufficiency from all members. Applicants who do not satisfy the competency requirements are invited to apply for the NUBC Learn to Row and/or Intermediate Program.
Please understand that completion of this form does not guarantee acceptance of membership. Membership will not become active until the appropriate fees have been paid.
It is a club requirement that applicants are of age 18 or older when applying for membership at NUBC. Anyone under the age of 18 wishing to join us should send an enquiry to secretary@nubc.com.au
