Private boat storage fees come into effect with membership renewals in May 2025.
To store new equipment at the shed, you need to apply to the committee via the application form, and recieve approval before storing any private equipment. Prices of storage:
NUBC Annual Boat Storage Fee: $180
NUBC Monthly Boat Storage Fee: $15/month
Newcastle University Student Boat Storage Discount: 50%
Year 6-12 School Student Boat Storage Discount: 50%
Private boats used for the training of other club members may be exempt from boat storage fees subject to Committee approval
Boat storage pre-payment declaration requires the club member to agree to the below:
I have read and understand the NUBC Rowing Equipment Storage Policy.
I agree to abide by the NUBC Rowing Equipment Storage Policy.
I have received approval from the NUBC Committee to store my rowing equipment within the Boat Club.
I acknowledge that insurance (including cover whilst stored and being transported) of private rowing equipment is the responsibility of the owner / licensee.
